It started as a humble little project, making some wine in the springhouse at our turn-of-the-last-century homestead above the Columbia River in Oregon. The springhouse was barely big enough to hold 60 cases of wine and 9 barrels (We had to remove the lightbulb to get that last barrel to fit). The first sales were made out of the back of our Vanagon in a Mosier parking lot. And now, just a few years later, and look at us, all grown up in a real winery with a real tasting room located in a converted 1920’s cannery in downtown Hood River. We make award winning wines downstairs and pour them upstairs. And everything we make is available in refillable bottles.
